Vital cities are a reflection of meaningfully engaged residents, and architects have an important role in interpreting people’s needs for shelter into the greater civic purpose of authenticity and meaning. The Livable Community Studio brings the best urban living principles to bear to create buildings, villages, public spaces and housing that will be responsive to both current and future urban habitation needs. A building’s ability to accommodate change during its entire lifespan is a priority of our sustainable design driven practice. Our focus is to create healthy, safe and walkable communities that are enjoyable and economically sound. Studio members embody the practices and principles of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and American Institute of Architects.
