Visual presentations for our clients are central to our role in communicating design intentions. Photo realistic illustrations of architectural visions of buildings allow clients and constituents to virtually experience the forms and spaces of buildings, early in the design process. In addition to these presentation media, we utilize digital and web-based technologies in the technical design process including computer generated sun and lighting studies called Heliodons. Heliodons assist us in predicting the influence of sunshine for solar heat gain and in calculating the performance of a building’s mechanical and lighting systems for optimal site orientation.
